BUYKARLO COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

1. PURPOSE

BuyKarlo is built to help users discover, buy, sell, and exchange products in a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment.

These Community Guidelines establish the standards of conduct expected from all users of the Platform.

By using BuyKarlo, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other applicable Platform policies.

Failure to comply may result in warnings, listing restrictions, account suspension, permanent account termination, or reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.

2. BE HONEST

Users must provide truthful and accurate information.

You must not:

• Create fake identities.
• Impersonate another person.
• Use another individual’s photographs or credentials without authorization.
• Misrepresent your educational institution, verification status, or identity.
• Provide misleading information about products.

Trust is fundamental to the BuyKarlo community.

3. SELL ONLY ITEMS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO SELL

You may only list products that:

• You own;
• You are legally authorized to sell;
• Comply with applicable laws; and
• Comply with BuyKarlo policies.

You must not list:

• Stolen property;
• Counterfeit goods;
• Fraudulent products;
• Products that infringe intellectual property rights;
• Products obtained unlawfully.

Repeated violations may result in permanent account removal.

4. ACCURATE LISTINGS

Listings should accurately represent the product being offered.

Users must:

• Use genuine product photographs whenever possible;
• Disclose significant defects, damage, or issues;
• Provide accurate descriptions;
• Use realistic pricing information.

Users must not:

• Upload deceptive images;
• Conceal material defects;
• Use misleading titles;
• Create fake urgency or false claims.

5. RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

BuyKarlo encourages respectful interactions.

Users must not:

• Harass others;
• Threaten others;
• Use abusive language;
• Engage in hate speech;
• Engage in discrimination;
• Send unwanted repeated messages;
• Intimidate or bully other users.

Communication should remain professional, respectful, and relevant.

6. NO FRAUD OR SCAMS

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Advance payment scams;
• Fake listings;
• Identity fraud;
• Payment fraud;
• Misrepresentation of products;
• False promises of delivery;
• Manipulation of buyers or sellers;
• Phishing attempts;
• Requests for OTPs, passwords, or banking credentials.

BuyKarlo may immediately suspend accounts involved in suspected fraudulent conduct.

7. SAFE OFFLINE TRANSACTIONS

BuyKarlo facilitates connections between users but does not participate in transactions.

Users are encouraged to:

• Meet in public places;
• Inspect products before payment;
• Verify seller identity;
• Exercise caution when dealing with strangers;
• Bring a friend when appropriate;
• Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.

Users are solely responsible for decisions made during offline transactions.

8. PROHIBITED CONTENT

Users must not upload, share, distribute, or promote content that:

• Violates applicable law;
• Is sexually explicit;
• Contains nudity intended for adult purposes;
• Promotes illegal activity;
• Encourages violence;
• Supports terrorism or extremist organizations;
• Harasses individuals or groups;
• Violates intellectual property rights;
• Contains malware or malicious code.

BuyKarlo may remove such content without notice.

9. SPAM AND PLATFORM ABUSE

Users must not:

• Create multiple deceptive accounts;
• Manipulate search rankings;
• Send unsolicited advertisements;
• Use automated tools without authorization;
• Scrape platform data;
• Circumvent platform restrictions;
• Abuse reporting systems.

Platform abuse may result in immediate enforcement action.

10. BUSINESS ACCOUNTS

Businesses using BuyKarlo must:

• Accurately identify themselves;
• Comply with applicable laws;
• Avoid deceptive advertising;
• Respect intellectual property rights;
• Provide truthful information.

BuyKarlo reserves the right to require additional verification from business users.

11. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Users are encouraged to report:

• Fraudulent listings;
• Counterfeit products;
• Stolen goods;
• Harassment;
• Spam;
• Intellectual property violations;
• Policy violations.

Reports should be submitted in good faith and supported by relevant information where possible.

Knowingly submitting false reports may itself constitute a violation of these Guidelines.

12. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, BuyKarlo may:

• Issue warnings;
• Remove listings;
• Restrict account features;
• Suspend accounts;
• Permanently terminate accounts;
• Cooperate with law enforcement authorities where legally required.

BuyKarlo reserves sole discretion regarding enforcement decisions.

13. OUR COMMITMENT

BuyKarlo seeks to foster a trusted and responsible community.

We encourage users to act honestly, respectfully, and responsibly when interacting with others through the Platform.

Building trust is a shared responsibility between BuyKarlo and its users.
